Types of Name tags

Staff badges are usually printed in full colour and can be any shape ranging from rectangular, square and round.

Plastic name tags:

Plastic name badges are the most common type and the most affordable. They can be printed in any colour of your choice. Printed on plastic PVC card, there are 3 common colours for you to choose from, white, silver and gold. They have an acrylic backing and a pin for attaching to clothing.

Metal name tags:

These are made of metal material and can be engraved or UV printed also. They have a very high end look. These use a magnetic pin to attach to clothing. They are expensive.

Wooden name tags:

These convey a high end and warm look. They are engraved or UV printed. Use a pin for attaching to clothing.

Domed name tags:

Doming is the application of a clear coating in the shape of a dome on staff id badges and lapel pins creating a 3D effect which is very eye popping and attractive. The clear coating also protects the staff badges from scratches and other damages. Both plastic and metal name badges can have doming or no doming.

Conference name tags:

Conference name badges are usually made of paper as they are meant to be used by staff, organizers and visitors at a conference for just a few minutes, hours or days. They are usually printed on the spot on a stick-on label and mounted on a pre-printed ID card with conference details.

We will create your design free of charge and send you a mock-up of the design for your approval or you can provide us with your ready design.  We also provide a free name badge sample for your approval prior to doing production of all the badges.  We then save your design for future use so we can consistently deliver the same results for your future badge orders.
